Hello

I am Wendy Sparks-Rehl, Shamanic Practioner, Reiki Master, teacher and artist.

After working at UC Berkeley for 24 years as a Costume Designer, Costume shop manager and lab teacher, I retired early to continue working as a shamanic practitioner with greater purpose and time to devote to my practice.  

My husband Dr. Michael Rehl and I decided to move into a new office in Walnut Creek which offers more space for us to expand our businesses together under one roof.  

Although I no longer design costumes, I continue to make art, lately focusing on watercolor paintings and growing food and beauty in our garden.

Finding My Shamanic Path

I discovered my Shamanic path in 2016 when I received my first healing from Greg "Wilder" Harper.  Wilder had left his card in my husband Michael's office. I was instantly intrigued. I booked an appointment and my first session was life changing. It felt like coming home. He told me what my power animal is, and it came as no surprise to this water lover.  I felt that I had opened a treasure chest that had been deep inside of me, and it is filled with an endless supply of wonder.

I immediately signed up for a workshop that Wilder was teaching and when that was finished, I enrolled in his Shamanic Certification course.  After completing the intensive year long course, Wilder invited me to assist him in his next course of classes. This offered a wonderful opportunity to participate in teaching and sharing new experiences with different groups of students who always enrich and expand the lessons with their discoveries.  It is so fun!

My fellow students were also my teachers.  This is the beauty of the Shamanic path.  We start to learn from everyone and everything around us.  Opening up all of our senses to the world around us, sharing what we see hear and feel as we delve into our inner worlds is an exploration we can all embark on.  Insights flow and we begin to emerge brighter and more compassionate, lighter, and always working at connection to each other and resilience to our own past traumas.

I have been extremely blessed to be in the company of so many seekers, explorers and healers while on this Shamanic Path.  I will be forever grateful to my Shamanic tribe and the teachers who brought us together.  May we all continue to grow and empower others.
